The unique perspective correction solution ~ Leverages accelerometer data from modern digital cameras ~ Natural rendering based on human visual perception ~ Automatic, proportion-preserving two-axis correction (Roll + Pitch) ~ Batch processing for efficient workflow ~ Shifting without the need for a tripod ~ Patented third axis (Yaw) ~ Virtual Change of Perspective for maximum creative control ~

PITCH

Perspective Correction compensates for distortion caused by tilting the camera away from its central position. Objects are automatically corrected while maintaining accurate proportions. Straight lines and right-angled structures are rendered correctly, delivering results comparable to those achieved with a shift lens.

ROLL

Automatic horizon leveling. Sensor data aligns the image precisely with the true physical horizon.

YAW

The patented third axis enables creative perspective control beyond the capabilities of a traditional view camera. (virtual change of perspective)

For the first time, accelerometer data recorded by high-end cameras is consistently utilized to give photographers full control over perspective.

corr3ax automatically corrects every image with regard to horizon alignment and perspective distortion.

2-Axes Correction

Horizontal camera tilt (Roll) and vertical tilt (Pitch) create perspective distortion. This distortion can be corrected with corr3ax for any image:

Automatic und proportionally accurate – even in batch processing!

corr3ax USP

Objects are automatically corrected while maintaining true proportions

This provides considerable creative freedom compared to the cumbersome use of shift lenses, which must be positioned and aligned with great precision on a tripod.

corr3ax USP

The Third Axis (Camera Rotation Left and Right / Yaw)

Rotation around the third axis in the horizontal plane (Yaw) enables a manual virtual perspective shift. The rotation angle around the vertical axis is not reset to zero but is deliberately defined by the user.

corr3ax USP

Creative Adjustments

Fine adjustments are possible in 0.2-degree increments

across all rotational axes.

corr3ax USP

Also for cameras without tilt data:

For image files from older camera models (not equipped with an accelerometer) that do not contain angle metadata, the Roll and Pitch axis angles can be calibrated and saved afterwards.

The angle corrections are fitted manually. When the image is reopened, full three-axis correction including virtual change of perspective can be applied.

In general, corr3ax can be combined with Photoshop and similar image-editing applications to optimize all subsequent image-processing steps. This also includes using AI-based tools to reconstruct and fill missing image areas that inevitably occur at the corners of corrected images.
